Dominash Day School (DADS) is your one stop for secular homeschool curriculum, classes, worksheets, homeschooling tips, news, information, and other educational materials. Founded by homeschooling parents who have spent the last seven years perfecting the process of homeschooling their own child, who is now successfully completing his eighth grade year, Dominash Day School is designed with the differing needs of each individual child in mind.
How Our Program Works
With their child dealing with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder yet maintaining high scores on every scholastic aptitude test he’s been given, the DADS founders were consistently disappointed in public school administration, who though it best to put him in special ed and not deal with his problems nor give him work that was both challenging and engaging. Through homeschooling, his parents have been able to develop ways to keep learning on level with his academic achievements and yet keep him engaged, while avoiding things that set off Autistic moods and behaviors.
Dominash Day School was designed so that each educational level offers challenging curriculum for those who are advanced, those who may be behind, those who are on par, and those who may be academically advanced though struggling in social and behavioral areas. With various worksheets on the same topic, you can decide where you child is going to do best and download only what you need. If you hope to improve skills, you can go back and challenge them with additional, more advanced levels of study or go on to other subjects and skills depending on your course of study.
Curriculum Development
Dominash Day School offers curriculum development services from May through October. These services provide your child with a full, secular curriculum. You’ll receive books, outlines for how you could follow the curriculum throughout the year, advice for teaching, project ideas, folders, and eventually grading and filing services will become available. Online Classes
Dominash Day School is planning to offer online classes through our online classroom. While these classes are still in the development stage, we’ll be posting more information on classes, when they become available, through our main DADS page. Classes we’ll be offering include Literature, History (Civil War, WWII), Acting and Theatre, Film, Music Appreciation, Criminal Justice courses and other electives.
Our forums are so you can communicate with other parents, teachers, and the DADS staff. Those who subscribe to our curriculum services or worksheet packages will have access to private forums. Parents can discuss using our curriculum, curriculum ideas, have their questions answered and more.
Worksheets
All of our worksheets are available in PDF Format. We have many free worksheets available for you to take and use as you need. You can also sign up to get additional worksheets through our worksheet subscription program. You’ll have access to our unlimited worksheet database, which we’re continuously updating and adding to, on a daily basis.
