Q. Do you only offer Secular Education Materials?
A. Yes, we do. However, we are planning a worksheet section entitled Myth and Religion. This is done from a secular standpoint. It’s not a form of religious education and will be viewed at from an elective standpoint. We don’t feel we’re qualified to offer a religious education for a religion we do not practice. We teach our child secularly and know many others do, as well. There are many religious homeschool websites out there, but not a lot of options for secular homeschooling parents. We’re hoping to change that.
Q. Why did you start Dominash Day School?
A. Part of our reasoning was to create a place for parents teaching secularly to find materials. Other reasons can be found in the About Us section. We grew tired of our son receiving substandard books, workbooks, worksheets, and other educational materials. We wanted to offer parents something that they could use to teach any child no matter their grade or learning level.
Q. What classes do you offer?
A. None at the present time. We are currently developing history, film, and Criminal Justice courses. Check back to see when they will be ready. We’re planning to announce classes on our main page.
Q. How much are your curriculum packages?
A. Depending on what books and extras you purchase, the price is going to change. To get a quote, email us.
Q. Do you offer grading, filing and transcript services?
A. As of now, no. However, we’re hoping to offer them in the near future.
Q. Are all of your worksheets free?
A. We offer plenty of free worksheets and educational materials, but we also offer a subscription section with additional materials. As you click on worksheets, you’ll be prompted to purchase a subscription if it isn’t free.
Q. What is the difference between your free and purchased worksheets?
A. Nothing. We consider our free worksheets a preview of what you’ll get if you purchase a subscription. They are as high quality as our subscription worksheets.
Q. Is Use of the Forums Free?
A. Yes. However, you can get access to additional forum sections when you purchase DADS curriculum or DADS worksheet subscriptions.
